1st Annual Rudy's Diesel Dyno Day/Open House

We will be having our dyno day Saturday March 5th. It will also be a open house and meet and greet. We will have prizes for highest overall HP, highest HP 7.3, highest HP 6.0, ect. All diesel cars and trucks are welcome! There will also be a raffel with all proceeds going to charity. We will have plenty of barbeque and other food. Everyone try to make it out so we can make this an annual event, it should be a great time with a few 1000HP trucks. Diesel Power Magazine will also be on hand to cover the event! We will get more info/details posted as they become available.

what kind of prices are we lookin at in order to make runs? Dyno and track??

It will be $75 for 3 pulls on the dyno. Still working out the track details, but it will probably be $15-$20 to get into the track and be able to run the truck.

Ya gotta have the correct programming to turn off all the engine parameters so u can dyno it. Idk wat engine its got but u need engine specific programming to turn off those certain parameters.

Dunbar's dyno will also be at the event! 1 dyno for live tuning, 1 dyno for competition!

Highest HP numbers for make/model. Most will be given away as a raffle with proceeds going to charity like make a wish.

Your "social event" and "strictly business" sound the same to me, at least on the weekend. If half the people that said they are coming do, then we should still have alot of trucks there. I know I'm bringing my family and hope other people do also.

One of the hotels he listed was like 54 a night for a room. I think doing that would be just as cheap or if not save you some money from the extra fuel you would use pulling the camper down from VA and the small fee at the campground.

Alright guys, its getting down to the last few days and just wanted to touch base with everyone. March 5th, Dyno day will start at 10am and will go until we have had enough. If you are bringing trailers, you may need to put them in the open lot next to the Bojangles, which is right up the road. We will have our dyno running for live tuning and Dunbar's dyno will be here for competition. Highest HP 7.3 will be getting a free turbo mount kit with up pipes from Turbonetics. Highest HP 6.0 will be a free turbo mount kit from Turbonetics as well. Highest HP 6.4 will be free H-11 headstuds from Elite Diesel. Highest HP 6.7 Ford will be getting a free EGR/Cooler Delete Kit. We have tons of other prizes to give away from Precision, Edge Products, Bully Dog, SCT, H&S Performance, MBRP, Spartan Diesel, Diamond Eye, ect. That includes Tuners, Monitors, Exhaust, Gift Cards, T-Shirts, ect. I would like to Thank all of the sponsors that have helped us out so far.

We will have food including barbecue and pizza. The only issue is that there is really no seating so please try to bring your own chairs if you want.

Track day will be on March 6th at piedmont dragway. Gates open at 12pm and it sounds like we will have enough trucks to make classes. Classes will more than likely be E.T, 7.7 Index, and Unlimited. We will do prizes/cash at the track as well.

Not too far from rudys. Anyone else want s to ride some welcome to come along. Pretty nice tracks. Got two mx tracks, and a flat track, that is not groomed. The mx tracks are groomed daily. Trails are pretty good too.
