Any of our sponsors carry something like this with maybe a powerstroke logo?

It seems like I saw one once but cannot find it.

Hmmm, that would be a nice option for the oil system blow off line. I'll be watching!

I have one that I got off of eBay. It has a Powerstroke logo on and looks fairly nice.

DJ's Performance had some really nice billet fuel filter caps made at one time and I believe the selling price was around $70. With these being much smaller, they should be cheaper. David, you are having those new items made, get a price on some of these. I would like some billet engine accessories. If I can't go fast, I might as well look good sitting still.:D

I'll look into it! It won't rachet like the stocker though and it would be billet.

Nigel, it can be polished! ;)

I think that one is just a cover for the stock piece so it ratchets. At least some of the other ones just like that I spotted do. I like the ratchet part as that lets you line it up square if you want.

Funny you should ask, (we;))just ordered a CNC mill and have a line on a CNC lathe. Plenty of new bling to come as well as hard core parts.
Did I mention I hate waiting on machine shops.

Tubzz has the one you're looking for Tom. I'm pretty sure he got it off ebay, but I haven't seen it forsale there in a few years.

That is nice to hear. You should be able to produce some nice items with a CNC mill and lathe. Will it be a small detailed parts type machine (something that could produce small parts with threads)?

I don't really need anything, just curious. Something like your machined stock fuel pressure valve that you currently sell or will it be for items like the exhaust housing adapter?

Cool

Now all you need is a 4in capacity mandrel tubing bender and you could make custom turbo mounting and intercooler piping kits.

Really?:poke:

I see a special relationship forming here for big oil adapter plates.

David that sounds great and I bet there a few cool parts that lots of people would be interested in. That reminds me I have one of those billet 7.3 filter caps here I need to find a home for.

Typical smallest cnc chucker or lathe would usually have a minimum of 6" swing and collets down to near 0" Don't know what your getting but I'm sure it will do everything that would be needed for diesel related custom products.

And I hear ya, I hate waiting on other shops to finish my products too!

The hyperMILL software runs "Inside" ProE, SolidWorks, Inventor and ThinkDesign. Design your part and machine on the spot, no exporting or loss of true associativity to your parametric model. Make a parameter change on the model and hyperMILL knows and will update the toolpath.

What 3D printer are you using?

You have to do what you have to do. Even if it meant making little parts for the EDC (every day carry) guys.

By the way, nice work on the new machine.

Too bad aluminum and steel are so outrageous now or you could put out some cheap little items.

Do you have anyone local that will do heat treating, tumbling and bead blasting or stone washing of small steel items?

I guess it would depend on the price and what you had made. I bought one of DJ and Vivians limited billet fuel filter screw on tops. It was a very nice billet item. I can post pic's if you have not seen one.

What are you thinking you will have made or try to get made? Maybe make a new thread with 5 or 6 items and have everyone vote on what they would like or buy.
