IM a tech at rcd been there 6 mon now and do all the 6.0 head stud jobs . we have people from all over bring trucks to us even had a guy from canada trailer his down for exhaust egr del and oil cooler.
i was even talking to the boss today about doing a cheep ass package as iv read about the 2 grand head core .. so that package would just be a gasket and stud job with no kind of guarantee..

elk hunt 08-06-2012, 05:13 AM I know this is an old thread but what was the outcome of this? I am about to go down the same road and looking for a local shop. Supposedly this 6.0 has the egr delete and studs already but they used black onyx gaskets and it seems they have failed.
Thanks
Tim
stroked99_1/2 08-06-2012, 05:32 AM Where are you located? Yes, this is a very old thread lol.
