I want to delete the egr on my truck. my truck has 164000 miles and i just want to get rid of it before it causes problems. There are so many companies out there to choose from. What one should I use? I was looking into the bullet proof diesel kit, is that a reputable brand? Also is getting a new oil cooler a good choice too? I was looking at the kit that came with a new and "improved" oil cooler but its almost $1000 with the oil cooler.

Id look at the GoGo diesel intakes.
GoGo diesel egr delete (http://store.gogodiesel.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_7_10_60&products_id=17)
You could get the stage 1 kit for $1,200 and that deletes the egr valve and internal ports.

Does that come with a cooler? Whats the difference between that and the bullet proof diesel kit for about $800 with no cooler?

Make sure you replace the oil cooler while you have it apart!
