Does the H2E use an T3 flange or a T4? Looking for a mounting arrangement that will grow with me. Possibly something like a GT40R that uses a T4 or large for next pulling season. :redspotdance:
Come on Guys, help me out.....:ford:

I believe the H2E uses a T3 flange. It does not use the large flange (T4) like the K31/GT42, etc. use.

K31 and H2E are the same flange, bigger than a T3 same size as a T4 just wider in the bolt holes.

The H2E is neither a t-3 or t-4 flange. It is very close to a t-4 in size but the bolt holes do not line up. The k-31 as it comes from Borg Warner has a t-6 flange. The easiest way to get one would be to just cut one out of 1/2" cr plate

Here's the flange I made for the 47. It's 1/2" "wear plate" I got for free at the local welding shop. No fancy tools, just a sawzall for the cuts and a hand grinder to round the corners. Used the drill press for the holes and the steel gasket to center punch em. A little love with the stick welder and it was hangin under the hood.

If you can have access to an engine sitting on a stand, you can mock it all up without having to take the truck down while you fab it. Really helps if you're working on a true daily driver.
Good Luck.
