Anyone using a Twin I-Beam front end and pulling. Will upgrade to straight axle some day, but was wondering how the TIB hold up. Thought about using limiting straps to keep things in-line. Not hanging weight. Horsepower limitations???

Actually when it's 4wd its called Twin Traction Beam or TTB and it works quite well pulling. I don't run any limiting straps or anything, and I've hung 800lbs off the front before.

Do you get any front end bounce or dribble? What kind of power are you running? Thanks

Just spend the money & get a straight axle. You'll stand alot better chance not breaking it.

Or just get an IDI like cat an you'll never have enough power to break anything haha
My setup pulls great, I wouldn't worry with replacing the front end until you do break something. And when you do break something you can get a new TTB front end for $300 at the junk yard.

Vs. $800 for a dana 60.

You can break anything pulling. But you stand less of a chance breaking a 60 & there by less down time replacing Dana 50 TTBs & more time working on other stuff. It will ride better too.
