The truck is an XLT 4x4 Crew Cab with tan cloth.
I've lost my job and have to sell my truck I've worked my ass off to put together.
It has 162K on the truck. New motor has 13k and new trans has 7k.
The motor has a full rebuild with ALL Ford parts/kit from Black Widow Diesel. My motor was built by Garmon's Diesel Performance and myself. I replaced everything. Runs awesome, idles and runs smoother than it ever did stock. I wanted to build a dependable 400hp truck, and maybe a little more. I know there at a lot of stock motors at 400hp now, but I wanted to be sure it was done right in case I wanted to add more turbo and fuel in the future. There are trucks similar to mine that make 400hp to 500hp everyday. The truck is no slouch and it's probably 375 hp now. I have never ran it at the track and I haven't had it over 28 psi of boost or over 1250 degrees. The bigger turbo is a little loud when you get over 15 psi. But just cruising at 4 to 5 psi its hardly noticeable. It moves so well at 1/4 pedal, you never need to and 1/2 to 3/4 pedal is passing everyone within 2 seconds. The truck is in great shape for 7 years old, but it has some scratches and dings. 4x4 is seldom used except for hunting season and at my parents house, but works fine. It tows great, the egts and boost are very manageable. It gets 16 mpg unloaded and about 13 mpg towing. I towed a Bobcat like it wasn't nothing and it tows my boat like it isn't even back there. I change the oil with Rotella T every 4K miles. A/C is ice cold. It gets detailed and hand washed once a month, sometimes twice if I feel rich.
It has a very small oil leak coming from my homemade CCV mod, but it just makes the bellhousing a little wet and doesn't drip unless you park on an incline. Two of the door locks stick sometimes. It's missing the factory fog lights and lower valance, I removed them and can't find. It's missing the keyless entry remote. It is a lifted truck and it does drive like a lifted truck. But it doesn't pull, shake, wonder or bounce going down the road. Nor does it ride like a Lexus suv. I carry a toddler and my wife and they aren't bothered.
