Can they / is it a good idea to hone used nozzles, or do they have to be new?

You can EH used nozzles as long as you inspect them. Bean told me if you EDM nozzles they need to be "new" nozzles when they EDM, used nozzles crack.

What size you want has to play into it as well. EH isn't all bad. Just choose your size wisely. Talk to DB and others with LARGE EH nozzles before you decide.

Easy now. Not all EDM is the same. ANd just for refferance the very first set of 2's that left Bean's/Cass's shop are still chugging along. They were used nozzes that were done edm.
Most of what EDM users complain about is how they "white smoke"(needle doesn't seat well) and they are usually unbalanced. Processes have changed, and some have already proven to make more hp than EH.
Check with DIY Injectors, I think Jim has NEW oversized nozzles. Built that way not EH or EDM.

Ouch... a bit of a low blow considering you know nothing of his injectors:confused:... I have seen them, and they are some of the best in the busness... Thats why he can stand behind them for two years... :D
