Big Slip

I was coming home last night and the roads were pretty wet. I kept breaking loose and spun the tires quite a bit. so on one in particular, I took off pretty hard from a stop and spun em up through a couple gears then let off. when i put my foot back on the gas, the revs went up but the truck didn't go anywhere (i.e. big tranny slip??). pretty much felt like i was in neutral. let off the gas again then when i pushed the go pedal and it seemed like it went back into drive. i didn't touch the shifter mind you. now....was my tranny just "confused" from all the spinning, letting off, spinning again or could there be a slippage issue. checked with scanner and no drivetrain codes.

it was just confused...nothing to worry about.
