94-03 7.3 injectors

Hey guys i got question for ya I got a 02 7.3 powerstroke turbo diesel and i got one bad injector in the back on the passengers side and the question is that is the factory stock injectors the same except for just the solenoids on top of the injector . So for saying my buddy has a 94 van 7.3 powerstroke that has been used to store stuff in and i was wondering if his injector out of the (van) would work in my 02 7.3 powerstroke truck if i just put my ad solenoid on his injector that came out of the van .

No.....injectors out of a 94' van are not the same. The solenoids only label what type of injector is below them. The 94 has single shot injectors and your 02' has split shot's, the are not interchangeable.
