I had a problem with the new P3 controller I put in my truck where it wouldn't turn off. Ran all the time. The documentation and stuff I found on the net showed it was supposed to turn off after 15 minutes tops when you cut the truck off and automatically turn back on when you touched the brake.
I was about to the point of wiring a relay into the harness to kill the power when it wasn't needed. From talking to some people in chat and a few other places it seems I wasn't the only person having this problem either. But not everyone was having the problem.
Well I fixed it so I figured Id share what I found.
Apparently you have to hook a trailer to it the first time and configure it one time with the trailer connected. If you don't do this the thing runs forever.
Now it turns off on its own. This has got to save someone some grief :D

Well I wanted a good controller and I wanted a volt meter. Hopefully I got both :D
I still havent pulled a trailer since installing it. Did try out the brakes on the trailer and it stopped a wheel when hand spun and the controllers slide control was applied....
Volt meter works great !

It's a good controller, Crowz. Works great for multiple trailers and towing different sized loads. Once you figure out what trailer/load works best under a particular setting, it's super quick to dial in perfect.

That was another reason I liked it as I have 3 different trailers. Ranging from a toyota pickup truck bed turned into a trailer, a 2 axle car hauler and a 3 axle bulldozer trailer.
