2011 Parts catalog?

Any Ford employees here who may have some insight to when 2011 body parts will be available?

I'm digging the new front end. Much better than 08-10 which was way better than any prior.

I have to disagree. While I have pretty much liked EVERY body style Ford has come out with. As far as SuperDutys go, 05-07 Harley and Outlaw trucks have been the best looking IMO.

Agreed, that's why I said SuperDutys!

Not much can make my jaw drop like a clean OBS. 150 and 250, doesn't matter.

I have to disagree. While I have pretty much liked EVERY body style Ford has come out with. As far as SuperDutys go, 05-07 Harley and Outlaw trucks have been the best looking IMO.

X2 on this, about the reason I was drawn to a 6.0L lol figured if I had to get a 6.0L (since it seemed to be all I could find) it was gonna be a 05+

I am not a fan of the 2011 front ends, I think they at the least desperately need some sort of a billet grill or something to get rid of the huge center bar and emblem.

Clean OBS FTW...But outlaws were a great looking truck. And I do like the new Ford design. But I think they didn't need to go all out with the fuggin huge chrome grille...If it was like a FX4 sport, It'll look great.

Body parts usually come out with the release of the new vehicle. I have yet to see a early release on parts on a new vehicle and I have been doing this :doh: (parts) for 25 years. :ford:

A guy I know got one of the first 04 F150's, and a guy pulled out in front of him a week later. He had to wait over 3 months before the parts were available to fix his truck! The local dealer parts guy is a friend, and said they never release new model parts for several months after the launch.

My guess is the new parts availability will be the same way for the new SD's.

While new model parts are always challenging a wait of 3 months is unsatisfactory. If I had to deal with that customer you can bet that someone at Ford would be hearing from me daily. I have never had to wait 3 months (that I can remember) for any parts with the exception of floor mats (bankrupt vendor) and some catalytic converters (bankrupt vendor) about three years ago. We dealers have to be persistent to get parts sometimes.

I don't know about body parts but I want to put factory fogs on mine since it didn't come with them. My sales manager and parts manager both researched them and got " sometime in June".
