my maf is fuked up. it sputters wile driving but when i unplug maf it runs/idles perfect. been driving it since friday night with maf unplugged & have had no problems or anything & gas mileage is same.. i replaced maf twice since august. could i be getting a short somewhere? could i need new computer?

When was the last time you had your fuel system cleaned out? Might be time.

Symptoms dont exactly match this but its always a good thing to check anyways, look at the hose that the pcv valve is hooked up with. Dont go by looked. Actually run your hand along the entire hose. If its oily, has a hole in it or seems a bunch more squishy or flexible in any one spot then replace that hose. Might fix it.
