Constant Regen. Does anybody know why?

Hey everybody. I bought an 08 250 about 2 months ago and it's been running fine until now. it has about 72,000 miles on it. Now all of a sudden it's regening every day and when it does it, black soot and smoke come's out from under hood and truck. It comes into the cab too. I looked under the hood and the only thing I could find with soot all over it was behind the first turbo housing. It's my first diesel so I'm not too sure if this could be causing it. Any assistance would be greatjy appreciated.

It sounds like the DPF is completely clogged. Get it to the dealer if it's still under warranty, that is an expensive part. You might want to look into DPF/DOC delete after you get it fixed, you would get better fuel economy and better power.
