where do you straight piped guys go to get ur emissions done? i heard u can pass straight piped, i just wanna make sure the place i go is cool with that. any good places around fairfield county?

I'm from Wallingford and got mine done at Avery Brothers, but it's in Wallingford a well. Dude was really cool. Just backed the truck onto whatever you wanna call it that they put the back tires on. It's not really a dyno, but it looks like one. Plugged into the OBDII port and did the opacity test. Never looked underneath for a muffler (although I am running one) never said anything about anything just tested it and gave me my piece of paper.

not sure where abouts it is from your, but I have heard that lee's auto ranch in ellington is very diesel friendly.
These guys said one of the service reps (Matt) is a die hard ford guy, and seems they passed Hivoltage with a twin turbo 6.0

i dont think they will fail you as long as you have the sensors still and depending on the year of the truck some of the diesels didnt come with a cat or dpf
