work out to be in the quarter mile.

Curious, it certainly wasn't me. But I was wondering what kind of horsepower it takes to make a 9000lb truck move like that.

thx!

if you're referring to brian carter's truck...i dont think its 9000lbs ..more like 8000 ...but 6.80 = 10.70 ...and at 8000lbs thats roughly 1365rwhp ....at 9000lbs thats 1535 rwhp

I could be mistaken, but I believe Zanes race truck has run a few 6.80 1/8th miles.

I know, I was just implying that a 6.80 could equate to 10.80's or faster in the 1/4.

Yes, this is about a dually, not a Dodge, but a Cummins powered Super Duty. And I've since been corrected. Truck weighed 8200# with driver.

I was told it made around 1000 without the bottle.

like mike said, 6.80's in cummings powered motors go way faster than 10.80
