There was two running together. The diesel had the new hood and grill, not sure which diesel, but had the same tail pipe as the 6.4 so it may have been a 6.4. The gas truck is the one I seen in is the one that had the manual mode for the trans. Also in case anyone was wondering the new instrument cluster is kinda retro like the mustang. Its pretty nice.

Thought the 5R was 6spd too? Was that baloney? Something about certain throttle conditions and the trans had an extra shift or lock up. Again just going off of something I heard/read...

It is some people have the ratio's and everything but it has to do with trans temps, its a 6 speed but it will only shift through 5 gears in any given strategy, i think the two gears that switch hot and cold are only like .1 from eachother, so using the "6th" gear is pointless.

Gotchya. I think that was what I had read before. These barley pops are clouding my memory.

Yeah some people have posted all the ratio's ect and get into big fights about it, but by nature there is usually another gear or two available in an auto, but most are not usable, to high or low or 2nd speed reverse. all depends on what is locked and what is spinning.

heard that too. I have also heard they want to bump up the trans warranty to match the engine 100k. Which tells me its going to be a tuff mofo
