rev limiter on a 5.4?

Does it have one? My 01 missed a shift and went to 6500.

Yea they do just they usally dont hit while there in gear. It hits at like 5500 or sumthing in neutral. The modular motors can handle a good amount of high reving.

we talking about an f-150 or what

both my 99f150 had one and my 05 f150 has one.I hit it all the time on the 99 when mudding and hit it sometimes on the 05 at the sand dunes.I think its right around 5,500

my buddies 01 f-150 stock was at 5500. he changed it with his edge though
