FREE TQ (HP) ?????

I've been sifting through old posts and BS from days gone by and am having trouble finding anymore Cheap/free HP. I have the Ho-made intake and have butched together a staight exh out of stainless 3.5 from a muff house. I've been looking for someone to do the IDM resister upgrade in Ks but have yet to find anyone who knows WTF I'm talking about, any help Ks?
After that I'm stumped. I'm still on the fence about chips/tuners and have been focusing more on the HPOP system. Any way to increase the out-put either by adj or custom oil? I know you guys know some stuff, so don't Bogart, pass that 5hit!

I am planning to do a chip/tuner eventualy just don't want to buy twice. i'd like to max-out the basics before throwing-in the chip towel.

Help a brother, don't let my CTD be the only Hos making power at the stable.

You can do all the free stuff then pull it off again when you get a chip and find the real power (and better transmission shifting which the cheap stuff doesn't do). Or you can just get a chip that can grow with your needs and modifications.

A Chip is what got most of us started. Nothing you can do will beat custom tuning. Then branch out from there.

FWIW I have run a chip of some sort on all my PSD's. I can not drive one that is stock, they are a PIG.

A chip will make it feel like twice the truck it is.

I guess I'd like to see the actual increase of adding a custom chip. The Mags have done them but they allways do other things at the same time so you don't realy know what caused the increase. I suppose I could be the 1st, since I'm already just about maxed the freebies.

What about the idiot spring in the fuel filter housing?
What about oils? Do any increase the HPOP preasure?
What about increasing line preasure, will that help?
Who in Ks (or close) does the IDM Mod?

I've been running the Hyper Tech for a couple weeks and it's barely noticable. They say it works better on newer trucks. That's why I'm afraid to go w/a chip because once you by it....

Everyone gives you HP #'s but no ones talking about the bump they got by doing just the chip having done everything else.

IDK..... my chips come with a money back guarantee and when you are ready to go with more mods like injectors you can just send it back for a reburn.

You are right though the OBS trucks don't pick up a bunch of power because of their small injectors stock.

quit beating around the bush baby swamps and 6 pos chip you already have done every thing that you can do and what you have done will accomidate the new chip. good luck BTW also invest in tires after you get the chip

or if you feel comfortable messing with your injectors give a call to rosewood and build your stockers into stage 1's or 2's or 3's. from what i have heard and read on the site hes a great guy, and each kit comes with a cd of pics and all the info needed.

having been the guy that messed with free and cheap mods, I would say the only one I'd do again is the IDM mod.
I did the ICP mod, the fuel pressure regulator mod, messed with the EOT, and all of them combined got me a tenth of the power of my PHP chip, and the chip added so so much driveability.
In addition to that, I am under the impression that the ICP mod had a good portion to do with the death of my injectors.
As for the IDM mod, if you know how to solder halfway decent and have an iron, you can do it yourself in less than half an hour. Most of the warnings you'll see about doing this mod are directed towards people that probably don't know what a soldering iron looks like. the IDM board is relatively thick in itself, there's ample space if you're using a fine tip, and it's covered in the single thickest conformal coating i've ever seen.
