Unless it's a Cali truck it has AA's...Only AB's in 97 were in Cali truck and they are splits, not singles.

Ab's went into the Cali trucks in mid 1996. I have a 96 Cali AB truck. But look under the VC to tell fo sho. It is only a 15 minute job for the drivers side.

Just look behind the fuel pump.
If it has a fuel damper its a Cali. No damper its 49 state.

Earliest anyone posted having a OBS California truck on TDS was 4/96 and the latest one was 12/97 with the early SD engine half cover. The pulsation damper is attached to the fuel pump banjo fitting, about 3.5" in diameter, is black and labeled "Bosch". Looks like "Starship Enterprise" behind the fuel filter cannister.

Also all E-series are Cali setup fuel systems.
