Mileage ?

I have an 08 6.4 thats has 26000 miles on it now. Mileage is about 8.0 pulling a trailer with racetruck on it, and hand calculated empty it's 10.45. I'm trying my best to leave the DPF on it, and have tried the Gryphon, Predator, and even a Hypertech on it with no improvement from any of them. Is there anything out there that work's with the DPF without spending a fortune? If not I may have to do the delete. Any ideas are welcome. Gary

You could always use a Spartan tuner. They offer tunes that will work with the DPF intact. You wont see the mileage that you will with a full delete but you should see some improvement and less regens.

the delete will be your best bet. seems like a huge expense at first but the results are WELL worth it

with innovative and spartan..highway im seeing between 20-22 ...17-18 city. no complaints here.

Should not be long...I think a couple guys have the tune now...its flashed with an SCT unit and the fellas writing the tunes are very goof....If I am thinking of the right people...matter of fact its being talked about in a thread at another forum right now.

I am pretty happy with my 275 and now 310 Spartan tunes...both power and mileage.

Yeah i have been wanting to try the new 310 tune. Of the few people i have talked to that have it all say it is a much better tune than the 275. Do you have the spray on your truck yet Mike, if so what system are you using and what size shot do you plan on spraying?

as for nos system, i chose the TS 2 stage power fool system. real simple and easy. as for how big of shots..ill just keep upping it until the truck slows down.

I tihnk the tune you guys are wondering about is from River City Diesel who is a sponsor on one of the other forums.....

yeah thats what the tune is called and i no one of the guys testing it and he said they have dynoed over 560 with just the tune and dpf delete

single..you would need to be spraying an assload of juice to need to bottle volume and pressure.

The SCT tune thats supposed to "compete" is from Josh aka BogginF350 aka River City Diesel.

Aaron just called me and he laid down a 12.9@103 on the 310v3 just a few mins ago...got it all filmed with the board lit up at the end...amazing

:eek: :eek: :eek: What truck configuration? That's friggin' aweesome!!! I'm assuming that was fuel only, correct? What was the 60'? I'm betting he could get it down to 12.8's, maybe even some 12.7's after some more runs. With my old 7.3 I was able to do 12.9's at 101mph so he's got 2mph more at the same ET.

CCSB 4x4 stock 20s and tires.

The 60ft could have been better...he said it was only a 1.71 I think...so get that to a 1.6 and 12.75 or so I think.

And yes that was fuel only...he said he was going to try to get a nitrous run in tonight but the track was packed.
