I went to pick up my truck and new Travel Trailer and the dealer had left the lights on during the day after using them to hook up the trailer lights and make sure they were working. That was at 5pm last night. I used jumper cables to put some juice back in them and they are charging them up today. My question is what if any damage is done long term to the bats? They are about 1.5 yrs. old.
Thanks,
Arisley

I would make them replace them. It almost certainly shortened the life of them.

if your batts were drained down to say 11.5 volts
it does take from thier life.12 volt batts should not be drained down passed 11.7 volts.even thats a little low imo.

Thanks for the replies guys. I picked it up last night and they took $220 off the price of the TT and gave us a new contract stating so. I could not believe it. I was happy;)

Sounds like they did you right. Adjusted the price to compensate for the batts plus a little for the wait. Sounds like good people to do business with.
