I want to see pictures of a 5th wheel hitch in a shortbed ford truck. I want pictures of the hitch, how its installed and if you have an in bed fuel tank how many gallons is it. Please help me I have a shortbed 08 F250 with a 6.4. and I have a fifth wheel camper. I want to pull it with this truck and use an in bed auxilary fuel tank. thanks

Pick any fuel tank you want, make sure its below the bed rails and it won't be an issue with the 5th wheel. Most are.

Don't have pictures, but what you would want is a 5th wheel slider. That way when you turn the 5th wheel doesn't come into contact with your cab.

You are going to need roughly 53" from the ball to the rear window, you will need a $500 16" extension to accomplish this distance. This is just a guess without seeing the actual trailer.

Take a look at Pullrite Superglide automatic slider. I pull a 33' 5th wheel with my short box and I dont have to worry. I dont have a fuel tank in my box, but I have a firewood box that goes across the front of the bed and is 16" deep and comes to just below the rails. I have an Extang Tri-fecta tonneau cover that covers the wood box when open, and covers everything when closed.

I second the pullrite superglide. I also have the 16k and it is awesome. I can put my 5er in a 45 and clears the cab by a foot. They aren't cheap and they weigh about 350lbs but they are worth their weight in gold.
