I know it is not that heavy (total is only 7700 or so) but it is what I have a picture of. I have not taken pictures hauling hay, most so far is 120 bales on the same trailer (20 to a layer, 6 layers tall), somewhere around 10-12,000.

what kind of a 4" lift did you put on there to clear 20" rims & 35" tires? dana 60 and rsk, sd springs?

it was a twin i but i put a shy jacker 4in new springs on front and blocks on the back. had to trim the front bumper just a little!

reg. cab is a 96 f250hd with 351/zf-5 trans. its an ex-coke-a-cola truck. Has around 260k miles and is still tight with no rattles/creaks/noises at all.

extended is a 94 f250, also a 351/5-speed. has the light duty trans though and its pretty much just worn out now. going to be sacrificed to fix this poor bastard of a truck

Oh the truck pulling is 2 wheel drive with a 5 speed. It is completely stock and pulled it just fine!!! The one on the trailer it was kinda stock but now far from stock.

im sure its the same where most people live, might get a couple wierd looks as well as a few thumbs up. seen the same kinda thing out here with somone haulin a log skidder on the same size truck/trailer combo

you can get away with that up here in Michigan as long as you are running log/farm plates!! Glad I got them on my truck!!!

My father has a thing for red trucks and he just fell in love with yours and so did i. nice truck and excellent job on the ol two cylinder... we sold a 60 about 5 years ago but it didnt look that good!

I have to say I am definitely a john deere man but I think I get more enjoyment out of painting some of the other brands of tractors, mainly just because they are new to me.
out of all of the ones we have painted my favorite is probably the farmall 806 we did last spring. it was a retirement gift for the president of a big local company. the tractor originally belonged to his father and got sold about 20 years ago. some of the board members tracked it down and got it bought 2 months before his retirement party, but it was in poor shape. we had to over haul it, replace the TA, rebuild the pto, and fix the brakes, not to mention hundreds of oil leaks and lots of body work. it was a long 2 months but we finished bolting it together a bout 11pm the night before the guys retirement party.

I've always wanted a SD and somebody locally wanted my truck so i decided to let her go. It was a good truck;) I just think i would ultimately be more happy in a superduty so far i love my new truck but it needs a lot of work to get it to where i want to be performance and cosmetically speaking:D

Ha ya I finally got tired of people tellin me that so I got some 36-14.5-18 on there now with some new rims. Ya. I think so to. The problem with the bigger tires that I only have 3.55 gears and it SUXS!! But I think it looks alot better with them. I just had to try the 20's dont know why just some dif for a lil bit.

i wouldnt even try anything bigger then the D4. it stayed just in front of the axles so most of it wasnt on the truck. she sure as hell didnt like doing it but she did!:ford: we guesstimated it around 24K for the cat 5K for the trailer and 8K for the truck for a grand total around 40K pounds.

yea I'm lucky I guess. when I bought the tow rig I was actually looking for a crew cab, but happened across this one and wasn't going to let it go. I drove two hours and bought it the day it was first posted up on craigs list. the guy said he had a whole bunch of calls on it but I was the first to call so I got it.:D

O yeah you can. It's got a 115 hp Merc on it. Ski, wake board, tube. It's not the fastest thing on the lake but it'll still get you up out of the water and run about 22 mph with 12 or so people on it.

I snapped a few of my obs doing work. This truck is my "beater" cause I bought it cheap and it has over 330,000 miles. One day I will restore it to better than new condition.
