Ziggy 02-03-2009, 02:27 AM Well i'm new to the site and just thought I would share another funny ricer incident I had last fri before work. I've got a handshaker and turned into the 2 lane goin up to work fri morning and was luggin it in 4th when I turned the corner and it was puffin a lil out the back and this ricer roonie came right up on my ass so far a could hardly see his windshield, which is a pet peeve of mine and so I mashed the brakes pretty good, and he swerved beside me and revved his motor that sounded like a pissed off bumble be, I just kinda laughed and matted it in 4th without even downshifting(goin maybe 35) and left him and right after I eased into 5th I went ahead and slowed back down to the 45 limit bc there is a good sweeping right hand turn coming up, by then i guess he thought he was going to pass me after I was done racing and had built up some speed and flew by me, and went around that curve, but kinda lost it, slid down the ditch on the left, up the bank, then down the bank facing the road, ripped up a 4 ft length of curbfrom the a side road, slid across the road, and ended up in the ditch on the right. but in the process left his rear bumper, left rear tire and hub, bunch of other lil pieces of stuff in the middle of the road(seperate from the car). SoOOO the curtious driver i am I beeped the horn and waved, drove around his bumper and parts, went another 200 yds and turned into work lol, he was fine just a lil bruised from not wearing a seatbelt, I just wish I had a camera, I couldnt stop laughing. Serves him right though, I cant stand it when someone rides my ass.
I know my truck is no where near being a hi po powerstroke, afterall it is my DD and farm tow rig, but I couldnt help but share the story.:ford:
bigrpowr 02-03-2009, 03:05 AM good for you!!
daryl4412 02-03-2009, 03:06 AM Nice
Ziggy 02-03-2009, 10:30 AM thanks guys, but like I said its my DD and the tow pig, I just hate the cars that have a muffler on them that you could smuggle a small child in, but can hydro lock the motor with a teaspoon of water lol I keep smiling everytime I think about it.
01platinum 02-03-2009, 09:45 PM That's funny. Wish you had some pics of that one
jdecker88 02-03-2009, 09:49 PM Good Kill man and litterly a kill LOL I always get tangled up in traffic when I am in town and can never get a kill. Everytime I come up Rutledge Pike in my truck I never see anything. Were did you race him at?
imelmo 02-03-2009, 09:58 PM he was fine just a lil bruised from not wearing a seatbelt,
How'd you find out he was bruised up? Went and talked to him after you pulled into work?
Ziggy 02-03-2009, 10:12 PM justin, it was over on mine rd. where the east bridge business park is? thats where I turned into going back to Exedy America, the place that builds torque converters, i work as a welding sub contractor for them right now. as soon as I turned onto that road is when he got right behind me.
Imelmo- that converter plant employs several hundred ppl, and later on that day I was talking to a floor supervisor going over some of the stuff he needed built on his part, and we got to bs'n and he brought up that wreck, and he said he was just bruised a little bc he didnt have his seat belt on and was going a lil too fast and went off the road at that corner right in front of the plant. But apparently the guy never said anything about racing, I dont think he knows I work there too, b/c the contractors park out back behind the plant and regular employees out front. Like I said they have alot of employees and brian(that supervisor) never said his name, I'm still trying to find out which one he is or when he works next. Just so I can "hey ricky bobby let me put that fire out":poke: When I go to work tomorrow I will take my cam and take a pic where he busted up the curb and post it, if I can figure out how to lol
imelmo 02-03-2009, 10:16 PM Lol, awesome. You oughtta find a way to park right next to him. LOL
Ziggy 02-03-2009, 10:29 PM lol good idea, i will when i figure out who he is and where he parks at, I keep asking around trying not to make alot off attention about it though. On the back of my contractors badge is a scan chip that i have to use to get in the doors and you have to use them to get into the employee parking, but mine also works for their parking lot too b/c i've done it a time or two, I just usually park out back so i dont have to walk far to the fab shop(keep in mind this place is well over a million sq/ft). Ill post some pics of that curb he took a chunk out of tomorrow.
Ziggy 02-03-2009, 10:33 PM Oh Had another thought, since I have a car hauler trailer, I ought to print up a business card "24hr towing at your service-we will get you out of any ditch" and hand it to him and just walk away without saying a word, I just gotta figure out who the sob is first. Then i'll have my fun.:D
jdecker88 02-03-2009, 10:40 PM That where I was thinking he might have wrecked at that is one mean curve if your not paying attention LOL. I'll have to start driving that way more often maybe I'll find him when he gets put back together and give him a double shot lol.
Ziggy 02-03-2009, 11:12 PM haha sounds good, but I dont think its the curve you're thinkin about, I think you are thinking of the one right there at the corner where the RR tracks are and the bank, its not that one. If you go on up to the industrial park where they have that big stone and turn into the park. when I turned into the park is when he got behind me, then when you go on up that little grade towards the back of the park near exedy there is a right hand turn about as sharp as the one where the rr tracks are, the one he wrecked on was right in front of the exedy building.
jdecker88 02-03-2009, 11:15 PM Next time I go to severville I will go back in there and look. Thats the reason I always carry my camera with me lol jsut for moments like that ;).haha sounds good, but I dont think its the curve you're thinkin about, I think you are thinking of the one right there at the corner where the RR tracks are and the bank, its not that one.
Ziggy 02-03-2009, 11:26 PM lol i'm going to have to start doin the same, if you go back there towards exedy, as soon as you take that right hand curve infront of it, there is an exit road coming out from the left of the plant, that curb on the side of that exit is where he took some out, like the last 4ft of it before it stops at the road.
jdecker88 02-03-2009, 11:31 PM Should make up a little sign and put there "Ricers Beware" LOL. Hopefully I'll get me some kills thur I have to go down to East Town Wal mart, Napa on Clinton Hwy and white pine maybe I can eat on something there.
Ziggy 02-03-2009, 11:37 PM haha, I graduated from carter high and know there are some over in that area, and since I work maybe 7 min away, I might have to cruise through the area if I get off work early one day in enough time to get over there about the time they let out. Hopefully you'll find one thurs, Happy hunting!!:ford:
bbbxcursion 02-03-2009, 11:40 PM good story
Ziggy 02-03-2009, 11:47 PM thanks bbx, it made my day at work alot better:D i've been looking forward to the drive to work ever since
Ziggy 02-04-2009, 08:40 PM This is about 4ft of curb he tore off, I outlined where the curb used to be and where he slid, you can still see his skid marks, his car ended up where the X is with his car facing back the towards where I was with the camera, and Sorry if its not the best quality, I took the pic through my tinted window, b/c the windchill felt like 12* outside so I left it up.
01platinum 02-05-2009, 01:48 AM He really did distroy that curb. To bad you can't find a piece of his car, then find him and tell him hay I found this outside and thought you might want it back. LOL
jdecker88 02-05-2009, 01:50 AM Damn that is a big chuck out of the curbing just for a ricer. He really did distroy that curb. To bad you can't find a piece of his car, then find him and tell him hay I found this outside and thought you might want it back. LOL
That would just be salt in the wound there, should do it LOL.
Ziggy 02-05-2009, 02:20 AM Damn that is a big chuck out of the curbing just for a ricer.
That would just be salt in the wound there, should do it LOL.
haha good idea, I will stop and look in the morning, I finally figured out who he is, hes the chunky young guy that wears his hat backwards and operates a forklift, I might take one of the football sized chunks of that curb from the ditch and autograph it and leave it at his drivers doorLOL
countryboyrob 02-05-2009, 02:24 AM thats funny good kill
