I love those old Ford tractors. My dad has three of them, a 3600, 5600, and a 9600.

If I am correct they can't go over 5mph or they are disqualified.

He probably did have a speed limit to contend with but he also said he should have pulled in a higher gear. You haven't seen creeping until you see the John Deere 2 cylinders pull at 1.5 mph!

That is why I refuse to pull my antique tractors and subject a cowd to that kind of torture! I love my old JDs to death, but I don't pull them. there are way too many other interesting things that can be done, parades, cruising the grounds, plowing, fan dyno, slow tractor races - (OK I know its slow, but for some reason I find it kinda fun.... plus few things sound as sweet as a big cube two cyldiner running at 25-30 RPMs)......

BTW - Nice running tractor you have there.

We had an AC WD that would really creep if you idle in 1st and add choke. Not sure how slow it was, but it took some feathering the choke just to keep it running.
