Give it shot. You may need something like AE or Snap-on scanner.

I'd give it a try, I don't know that tuner very well ,but you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. As they said let us know what the codes are and someone will be able to help out. I,m one of the lucky ones that has a Solus scanner I can use pretty much anytime I want.

No it feels fine no slip drives like always here are the codes i pulled

P1249: Waste Gate Fail Steady State Test (over Boast maybe)
P1211: ICP Voltage Not At Expected Level (I dont know what ICP is)
P0720: Output Speed Sensor Cirucit Error (I know what that is could this be one of the probems that Causes that?) This is what i got out of the book my tuner came with i think their right let me know if not
Thanks

You could try cleaning your IPR, follow this (http://cw-diesel.com/LuxSite/IPRInfo.htm) really pretty simple. You can use a deep well socket to get it out, just put the ratchet on afteryou put the socket on. You will not be able to bury the ratchet all the way. Also either wear gloves or wrap the braided steel lines in something or you will look like a cat attacked you hand. Not sure if it will fix you up or not, but all it is is time. Totally free.

This is the code that flashed the OD light.

The output speed sensor is on the rear end of the trans. You have either a bad sensor or a wiring problem to the sensor. You'll have to do some diagnosis to find out which one. You could just change the sensor and see if that fixes it, I don't think the sensors are that expensive.

Just Curious is it the sensor on the rear diff or on the trans it self and if it was bad wouldnt the speedo be off to just curious

thanks

As I said in post #12 it's on the rear end of the trans. This sensor does not feed the speedo, it only feeds info to the PCM to control the trans shifting. I don't have a link, I use the parts counter at a parts store or a dealer.

It could be in your torque converter the converters in those tranny's is the worst part about them. It might be getting ready to take a dump on you. it is possible that it is binding up (like a really tight stall) then when you put it into park (should do the same in nuetral) it is taking all the load off the engine then the rpm's go up naturally then come back to idle. It's just a thought I would call BTS at www.brianstruckshop.com
