Never would have known or seen a front wheel drive Auto 7.3 IDI bus.Guy wants 2k for it with 245k miles or 800 for the motor and tranny.Runs drives he is using it for storage.I don't even know what kind of tranny is in the darn thing.Any ideas or details on this thing?

it isn't turbo charged and doesn't have a 4r100.but yeh

Thats the only one I could find hunting for it. The isuzu one was the only other thing I could find with an ELF :D

FRONT AXLE
Carraro H.S. 6.10 front drive with a design load rating of 7500 lbs. and a standard gear ratio of 5.13:1.
REAR AXLE
Trailing arm independent with a load rating of 10,000 lbs.
Hope that thing has OD or it's going to top out around 40mph with a C6 & those gears. Might not be too bad for JUST city driving. Try to get some pics of it, I want to see how that engine & tranny are hooked up.

Through a transfer case... My buddy tossed one of those front ends underneath a bronco. They have 4 link like a dodge and ride on coils IIRC
