IIRC the cover is about $130... But this time, take that crappy plug out and replace it with the international one.

Some folks do something like JB Weld a 6mm allen (I think that is the size) to the dang thing and get it out that way.
Get the updated plug to replace it.

All you need is the $18 set of colored fuel line DC tools from Sears, 6MM Allen, IIRC a 7/16, 13MM for the nuts that mount the pump to frame.

yea, DC all four lines, you will get wet. The nuts that hold the pump on are on the outside of the frame. zip them off, unplug the 3 plugs and its off. remove the cover, remove the filter, clean it out really good, your going to find sludge in there no matter what. dry it out, put new filter in, put new gasket and cover back in, remove factory drain, install updated plug. re-attatched everything, although it may not come with the fuel heater, it was deleted, or am I wrong and the hearter is in the pump itself? I dont remember, cycle key for 25 seconds, 6 times, your good to go.
