Will a 285/75-16 fit in the spare spot?

Hey y'all, any of ya ever put a 285/75 up under the bed where the spare is stored?

I want to take one of my worn tires and put it on the spare rim, put it back where it belongs. Then if I have a flat my spare will be the same size as the other tires...

I had a 285 for a while and when I ran 315's I had one of them mounted as a spare under the bed also. You shouldn't have any issues
