I have been wanting to do the whole wmo or wvo thing. I was wondering if anyone would give me price on what it would take to get it all started and run it through my obs powerstroke. I was also wandering whether wmo or wvo would be better for my application. I dont know crap about this stuff so anything would be helpful.

I don't know about cost. I bought a processor for 2K. The thing that bites you is availability. Before I dove into making biodiesel or running WVO, check to see if you can reliably get enough good oil. If making biodiesel, check to make sure you can get the methanol and lye you will need.
For me, finding oil getting chemicals worked well for about 3 years, but then the waste people tied up the oil market in our area and the chemical companies got to be a pain and quit selling to small people like me.

Yep, that's the first thing to do. If you cannot get oil then the rest means nothing.

I blend, and yesterday I made 10 gallons of waste oil blended diesel fuel in 2 hours, so you may want to look at how much time is involved in the various processes as well. An expert blending system can cost as little as $250. Blending is cheap and has less time involved than any other method of burning waste oils as diesel fuel than I have read about or tried. But, whatever method you employ you will have to be handy, have a place to work on your process and a source of waste oil.
