Well I pulled my pullin tractor the other night at a local pull and did pretty well. I ended up getting 2nd out of 12. I had 1st up to the very last puller, which he got to pull 3 times that night. But I was very happy to say the least. The tractor I pull is a 1953 WD-45 with some tweaking here and there!! Thanks

I use to have a WD-45 with a D17 engine in it. That thing was a hoss! It was a great tractor to tinker with, but I sold it cause I prefer the ones with 2 cylinders and green paint :D
Still was a great tractor.

I can't believe you like Johnny Poppers!! We are currently gathering parts to put a 301 cubic inch 190 Allis diesel egine into a WD. I am contemplating on wether or not to turbo charge it. If I did, it defiantly wouldn't sound stock!;):D

Ummm...... as a guy that owns a complete set of 30 series including some of the rarest options and odd balls ever produced, I guess you could say I like Johnny Poppers :D
I'd love to know more about your project. What are your wants and goals? The purpose? (just cause, pulling tractor, etc.....)

The purpose is just a dedicated pullin' tractor, which is our only source of family entertainment! The goals are to win, plain and simple! I just get tired of having to compete with Mini's that have 600 cube inch engines, and we only have around 250 cubes. I feel like if we had this engine in this tractor that it would defiantly be something to compete with.
