Got 35 gallons of very very clean waste ATF today. Mixed it at 10% gas which was right in line with what my homemade viscup was telling me. Mixed it with my bubbler which I copied from another member. Its a 1" PVC pipe with a cap and an air line running into it at ~8 psi. Mixed it nicely and had the fuel heated to about 90 degrees. I will be trying my first attempt at a pass through the centrifuge tomorrow afternoon. Wish me luck!

Looks good, but mixing is not required, so you can dump the bubbler, because in 1 minute after introducing gasoline to your blend the gasoline and ATF will be completely in solution. Then all you need do is let it rest for 24-48 hours for any contaminants to settle out, then drain the sludge, then filter to 1-5 microns, and you are done.

Ok so I now have burned about 15 gallons of my mix and so far so good! The only real difference I can tell is that it maybe is slightly quieter running and it definitely does not smell like I am burning diesel! Haven't experienced any smoking at any point except an initial small puff at startup (did this on diesel too). I probably passed it 6-7 times through my centrifuge just to be safe and could only ever get a slightly darker, very thin film on the rotor on the 1-3 pass. After that it didn't have anything on it. Took several samples looking for solids, viscosity, and contaminates. I will give an update on my experiences running WATF90 as I go along. Got 55 gallons this afternoon and will settle and filter this weekend.

The quieter running engine usually means your fuel is a little too viscous, so adding more gasoline to your blend will solve that.

Yeah I noticed there was a bit of gas on the lid of my barrel. I think my rate of evaporation is a little more rapid then I anticipated and is contributing to it thickening up.
