I would like to know about the plug on rear of head, of drivers side. I understand I can screw in a guage there to see fuel pressure. I dont want to try & get the plug or schrader valve by filter canister, due to tightness of space on these vans. Has anyone else use that plug on rear of head? I want to know what size it is, so I can pick up (ahead of time) the fittings & guage needed. (So dog house will only have to come off once.) Thanks

I believe this to be a permanent install and not just for testing?
As a permanent install i would not use a mechanical gauge.
At some point in time they leak. I would maybe go electric.
BTW--From the EM its the small one.
Thanks, that is the plan . (elec)

I have the electric gauge already but I just need to install it. I believe Jody told me that he ran his off of the fuel bowl... Is this an option too? And what about the Oil temp, any suggestions on where exactly to tap?
Fuel bowl will work, however, on vans it looks to be a challenge. Also, if on bowl, it would measure unfiltered pressure & not the pressure going to injectors after being filtered. correct me if I'm wrong. I called DI(sponsor) & they told me there should be a 1/8" pipe thread with square head, just on top of head, toward rear, on drivers side, near up pipe. I already put my doghouse back on . But next time off, I will research further. It would be nice to see what injectors are receiving.
