i'd say put a .80 gated and divided housing on it. You really should have some sort of a gate(internal or external) if you're spraying.

I agree, but with that big of a housing housing and the small jet, he is probably ok...

What is the advantage of a divided housing unless he plans to run the BD valve with it?

i just read the mod list on pg 1 and he said that he has conservative tuning to maintain ICP. even with that, he could probably use some tighter nozzles to help with atomization ya? curious to see what it was though...

JJ...at idle, ICP should be around 580ish. check your IPR duty cycle to see where it's at. should be around 20% i think...

Numbers were made on a innovative race tune not the 80% one eric made. If his ssx were up the foe that last pull it might have been the end of that one. No way it was handling that.

Boom lol. I took the truck on a 3 hour trip back home yesterday and I'm proud to say it got me back today as well, 17 mpg hand calculated. Might sill have small exhaust leak.

why do you say that? there are plenty of VGT's that get sprayed...they may not last as long as a non vgt but they can take several shots. I'm at least hoping that....i'd like to add a small shot to my setup!

My ICP reading at idle when cold is around 820psi...when warm the ICP reading at idle is 700psi. I've heard others seeing about the same at idle.

Dunno man...just talked with my good buddy who is a ford master diesel mechanic that it should be between 500-600 psi on a stock truck but not much more for bigger injectors. does depend on the tuning though :shrug:

Back in early 2008 at the suncoast dyno day, Bryan Luke made 790hp on dunbars dyno with nitrous and our VGT-SS and Martin Gaisser made 744 with nitrous and our VGT-SS. You guys haven't done anything special. And Aaron's dyno reads higher than Dunbars.

I was in no way trying to cut your product down. As i think its a great charger. I was meaning that without a wastegate and in stock form if that would possibly overspin the charger. At the same time i'm not sure how the current charger would take to nitrous overtime in its form either.

The ss nor ssx would live at those power levels for very long let's be honest here, unless there are some gated vgts we don't know about

nice, curious to see how it works with a diverter, probably the fastest spooling 66 there is, also curious as to what drive pressures are.

diverter and .76 housing is working really good on my set up no smoke until 3/4 pedel i seen 900* and 6-9 psi when cruising

yes sir 64/71/.76 non gated its rcd's turbo, according to my scan guage EBP was 55 at WOT turbo makes about 45 psi of boost
